Charleston House Toledo To Host Professional Development Seminar

Welcome to the Professional Development Seminar held by The Charleston House, LLC.

This class is designed to offer the skills needed in obtaining quality employment, and to be successful in most educational facilities. Involved is a 6 week program with the first 5 consisting of course work, and the final week spent reviewing and taking the final exam.

In these sessions you will learn the proper way to conduct oneself in an interview, how to construct a proper resume, and basic computer and keyboarding processes. Also, there will be a segment on how to test take and what techniques are effective to be successful in the classroom. A review sheet and mock test will be given to help you prepare for the important exams.

The class is worth a total of 1200 points and is scored according to attendance, participation, homework, and test and quizzes. A $25 gift certificate will be given upon completion, and a $50 gift certificate will be rewarded to those who earn a 3.0 GPA or better.
