Presented by Odessa Rowan and her associates of the Charleston House, LLC.

This class is designed to help parents and adults understand how to raise children without violence and offer alternatives for disciplinary matters.

Discussions and videos will be taken into account as course work, so please be prepared. All material is attributed to the ACT and Child Domestic Violence Association websites.

In this seminar you will learn effective measures in managing emotions as a parent, and how to offer solutions for solving problems. Next, positive disciplinary actions will be discussed, as well as media literacy. Finally the last week will include positive ways of resolving conflict.

The class is worth a total of 1200 points and is scored according to attendance, participation, homework, and test and quizzes. A $25 gift certificate will be given upon completion, and a $50 gift certificate will be rewarded to those who earn a 3.0 GPA or better.
